Media Release from Eryldene

A LATE WINTER GARDEN AT ERYLDENE
SATURDAY & SUNDAY 13 & 14 AUGUST 2016
10.00AM – 4.00PM


  • Visit the garden and admire the continuing display of colour as magnificent azaleas and late flowering camellias come into bloom.  
  • Make time to take a guided tour of the house and hear about  the Waterhouse family and the making of Eryldene. 
  • Join us for a demonstration of Ikebana, the art of Japanese flower arranging.  Experts, Aya Shibata and Jenny Goodwin will  explain and demonstrate this ancient art form as practiced in  the traditional Ikenobo school and modern Sogetsu school. 
  • Enjoy floral arrangements in the house and garden study of both schools.


Demonstrations  on  Saturday 2pm and Sunday 11am.

ENTRY
Free for Eryldene, NT and HHA members;
$8 non-members; $6 concession; $4 child (6-15);
$18 family (2 adults, 2 children)

AFTERNOON TEA
Available Sunday from  2.00pm. $24 adult; $10 child (6-12)
Please note this does not include entry fee.
